Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Dear Everton Family, I was so sorry to read about Coletta’s death. She was such a sprited, fun, outgoing lady. I have strong memories of a woman who loved life, her family, and orneriness! She is a part of all whom she left behind and her spirit lives on in each of her children. Hold fast to the many wonderful memories you have of her, for they are a permanent part of you and will always be there for you to enjoy. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Shelly, All of us here at Hajoca want you to know we are thinking of you and your family. Our prayers are with you and may you find comfort in all the wonderful memories you’ve made through the years.

  3. I loved Coletta. As a kid growing up with the Evertons as our neighbors, she was one of my favorite people. I loved to listen to my mom and her talk over a cup of coffee. I remember going to Harley and Coletta’s house via rowboat after our house on Fabrique flooded. Coletta saved the day by feeding my brothers and me alphabet soup. I am truly sorry for your loss, and you have my sympathy.

  4. I am so sorry to hear that Coletta died yesterday—I thought I would see her this week or visit by phone again as we did about 2 weeks ago. I wish I had that one last conversation with her–just one more!! She and Gerry so loved life, their zest for life was contagious. She will be dearly missed by all—most of all by me. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Lea Kathol Jordan

  5. I was saddened to learn of Mrs. Evertons passing. Mr. and Mrs. Everton were very warm and kind to me and other teens that visited their home. It was apparent to me that their chidren were well loved. I really enjoyed the family and Mike’s friendship. With fondest memories, Lee Fletcher.
