David A. Robison
March 2, 2010
Robison, David A., 23, loving son and brother, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2010, due to medical complications. Rosary, 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 4, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Funeral Mass, 1:00 p.m., Friday, March 5, St. Joseph Catholic Church in Wichita. Entombment immediately following at Resurrection Mausoleum. David is survived by his parents, Debra and Stan Robison; stepfather, Larry Forshee; granny, Edna Riker; brothers, Darren, Derrick, Dustin, Douglas and Daniel; sister-in-law, Jenea; 7 nieces and lots of cousins and caring aunts and uncles mostly from the Wichita vicinity. Throughout his young vivacious life, David provided many lasting memories that others will treasure for many years to come. Anyone that ever had the privilege of knowing him was sure to walk away with a smile on their face and warmth in their heart. His presence alone created a picturesque atmosphere. He could constantly be observed giving his eerily accurate weather reports or not so G-rated wrestling gesture. Regardless of what he was doing, one thing was always for certain: we knew he was giving. For giving was what he was about. He will eternally be missed. And even though We Cant See You, We know you are watching us from above. Memorials established with Starkey, Inc., 4500 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67209 and ARC of Sedgwick County, 2919 W. 2nd St. N., Wichita, KS 67203.

Stan and family: I just read about David. I share in your pain and sadness in loosing David. Those who had the rare gift of knowing him were blessed as I was for what he was able to give this world. God’s blessings are given to us in many ways and David was a very special blessing to you and your family. I am a better person for having the opportunity to know him. I pray that God’s grace and strength will sustain you as you move on the path that He will give you. My love and sympathy to all of you. Dane Lea.
