Deanna May (Lightle) Rieschick, 81, loving wife, mother, and grandmother, died Thursday, May 4, 2023. Visitation will be from 4:00 - 6:00 pm, Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside Service will be at 11:30 am, Friday, May 12, 2023 at Downs Cemetery, Downs, KS. Preceded in death by her parents, Stewart "Pickles" and Viola Marie (Greig) Lightle. Survived by her husband, Alfred Rieschick of Bel Aire; children, Dennis (Gwen) Rieschick of Augusta, Denise Fumagalli of Bel Aire, KS; grandchildren, Brittany (Austin) Farmer of Augusta, KS, Shelby (Blair) Hedges, Ashley (fiancé, Blaine Hedges) Rieschick, both of Wichita, Austin (Savanna) Rieschick of Augusta, great-grandchildren, Langston and Henry Farmer, Theodore and Magnolia Hedges, Otto and Riot Rieschick. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219.

Such a Fun, Loving Sister-Inlaw! Many good times! So thankful that we were able to meet in Salina & have lunch together a couple weeks before her passing. RIP
Deanna was warm and welcoming to me from the moment I met her
She always had a glass of tea for me
She loved her kids and grandkids and then her great grand children
She liked to laugh and was personable
And always welcoming to Carla and myself
She is missed 🙏🏼

Deanna was a beautiful soul and just thinking of her now makes me smile and brightens my heart. She was so kind, friendly and helpful. She truly cared about me and showed it with little acts of thoughtful kindness. Heaven has gained a wonderful addition. She will be greatly missed.
