Don Snider, 69, died Sunday, February 25, 2024. Rosary will be at 9:30 am, with Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, Saturday, March 2, 2024, both at St. Jude Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his parents, Vernon E. and Irene Snider; sisters, Gloria Boone, and Mary Lubbers. Survived by his wife, Joann Snider; sons, Brian (Jamie) Snider of Wichita, Kansas, Matthew Snider of Towner, Colorado, Adam Snider of Atlanta, Georgia; grandchild, Emily Snider of Wichita, Kansas; brother, Richard "Dick" (Michelle) Snider of Colby, Kansas; sister, Mary (Larry) Liby of Osage City, Kansas; and blessed with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Memorials have been established with: St. Jude's Lord's Pantry, 3030 N. Amidon, Wichita, KS 67204, and Good Shepherd Hospice, 7829 E. Rockhill Street #403, Wichita, KS 67206. Services in care of Downing & Lahey Mortuary - West Chapel.

He was my scout troop leader in elementary school. I have many fond memories of Quivera Camp, KC/Colorado ski trips, and earning the money for these activities by selling firewood. I will always be grateful for Don’s part in helping shape a young boy into a good man.
Houseboat on lake Powell!!! Boy scouts!!! I’ve so many memories with the sniders I don’t know I even begin. Hard to believe this is happening.
Joann, so very sorry for your loss of Don! I’ll never forget Don as our first scout master when my oldest, Brad, was young! He did such a great job and I thought so much of him! I know how very much you will all miss him! My heart goes out to you! You will be in my thoughts and prayers!
