Dorothy Nan Scott Crawford

Crawford, Dorothy Nan Scott, 87, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 11 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Services will be held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 12, at Plymouth Congregational Church. Nan was the daughter of Clyde and Nancy Scott and wife of 53 years to James S. Crawford Jr., who preceded her in death in 2001. Nan was active in working with children many years on the board of the Wichita Guidance Center. She was a member of PEO Chapter EI and life time member of her church. Nan is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Carlyle, grandsons, Zachary Haskins and Jacob Scott Carlyle. Memorials have been established with the Kansas Society for Children with Challenges, 106 W. Douglas, S-900, Wichita, KS, 67202, the American Cancer Society, 818 N. Emporia, S-100, Wichita, KS, 67214 and the American Red Cross, 1900 E. Douglas, Wichita, KS, 67214. The family will receive friends at Plymouth Congregational Church following the graveside service. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m., Friday, March 11 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East.
