Doug was always a gentlemans gentleman and and a friend with no strings attached. Ive always been proud to be able to have a Coors with another conisur of fine beer..and 40 Fords:…I love you buddy.
Doug was a neighbor in Hutchinson. He gave me away when I was married and drove Albert and I home in his convertible. I have fond memories of Doug. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He was a wonderful person.
Rest Douglass, until you hear at dawn,
the low, clear reveille of God.
Thank you for your service to this nation.
I became friends with Doug while karting from the early 70s til the early 80s.
We were never competitors, but I always looked forward to visiting with him while we raced throughout the Mid-America area.
I am very sad to see this true gentleman pass.
I remember babysitting for the Keeners when I was 14 or 15 years old. I still remember the house on 25th st, & I look at it every time I drive by & think of you.Im so sorry for your loss! Rest in peace Mr.Keener!

My deepest condolences to Mrs. Keener and family. I am grateful to have met Mr. Keener during my time stationed in Kansas and was always appreciative of the warmth and genuine hospitality I experienced during my visits to your home. You are in my thoughts and prayers always.
Carolyn my deepest condolences. He was such a good man. I know him and Mom are up there catching up.
Carolyn and family; so sorry to hear of Dougs passing. My dad (Jim Marteney) thought a lot of him – sharing his enthusiasm for cars. However, i met Doug through Sherri, when he had Pella. He was a wonderful man, and I know will be greatly missed. Prayers for peace and comfort.
Carolyn, I was so sorry to hear about Doug. Dont know if you remember me, but I worked for Pella here in Hutchinson, with Ken as my boss. Gary and I went to Hawaii with you guys for Pella. Just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you and your family.
Carolyn and the Keener Family,
Chris and I were at the V-8 Clubs Grand National Meet in Dearborn when we got word of Dougs passing. He will be greatly missed. So sorry that we could not attend the service but you are in our thoughts. We have very much enjoyed our visits in AZ and at the V-8 Club meets over the years. Our deepest sympathies.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
