  1. I am from Albania and I met Ethel in 2006 when I was visiting the US to share about our ministry with CRU. Ethel came to me and said that she wanted to support and pray for me and my wife. I considered her to be my biggest supporter, just like the example from Mark 12:41-44. Ethel was an inspiration for us with her love for the Lord and for his Kingdom not only in the US but overseas also. Praying for Megan, Gina and the family! In His love, Ilir Stavro

    • She was a quiet warrior for the Lord. Always willing and desiring to help others. Just a week before surgery she called my wife and asked if she needed help moving tables for the women’s Bible study, since they were social distancing the tables. Glad to hear she was supporting you as well. Pastor Jerry Smith

  2. Ethel & I usually sat together at church, and I always enjoyed our conversations, and she loved sharing pictures of her grandchildren. I miss her! Jean Walker Jean Walker

  3. I first met Ethel when picking her up with Bill during a snowstorm. He didn’t have a 4 wheel drive vehicle & wanted to bring her over to his house. They had just started dating. We became lifelong friends from that day. Rest In Peace Ethel

    • Ken, thank you for being her friend. I remember her speaking about your friendship and I told her that your dad built our family home in 1969 which our family still owns. And how you helped her make some wedding signs for Gina’s wedding (I believe it was you). Thanks for being their for her family. – Pastor Jerry Smith

  4. I met Ethel through the babysitting coop in the Overbrook/Crestview neighborhoods. She was lovely and gracious, and I know she will be greatly missed. Praying for you, Megan, Gina and your family.
