Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your mother, grandmother & sister. Mrs. Wood was my music teacher at Munger Elementary from 1958 thru 1965. I give her a lot of the credit for the appreciation and enjoyment of all kinds of music that I have always had. She introduced me to classical music. I think the first time I heard the Nutcracker was in her class. I also remember her teaching us how to sing. I especially remember her telling us not to sing through our nose. Every time I heard John Denver sing, I thought of her! He was, by the way, one of my favorites. Several years ago, when I noticed that Mrs Beaver, Munger’s secretary had passed, I met her son, also Mrs Wood’s dentist. He gave me her number @ Presbyterian Manor & I was able to call & talk to her & express my thanks to her for her teaching and efforts. I & a friend (another Munger alumni) were going to visit her, but never did. I’m very glad that I was able to thank her for her hard work. She was a real good teacher. I was very fortunate to have had her in my life. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
