  1. Dear Bowen family – Know that I share in the loss of your husband and father. You are in my thoughts and prayers. Love, Vicki Means

  2. Sending our love and condolences to all. Trees are stalwart and true. A perfect memorial to your dad.

  3. My condolences to you all for the loss of such a lovely man. He was always so kind, especially as a boss during the short time that I worked at the store for him. I know your memories will keep you lifted up. God’s blessings.

  4. I was thinking again this morning about the special duplicate friends we made “back in the day.” Wrap yourself in fond memories. Hugs, Diane Grace Lachenmayr

    • Diane, The family of Gerald Bowen would love to get in contact with you. If you could, would you please call the mortuary at 316-682-4553? Thank you, Downing & Lahey Mortuary

  5. I am so sorry to hear about Jerry. I went to work for Jerry at Twin Lakes Sporting Goods in May of 1975. I worked there for 12 yrs and enjoyed it. The Bowens became like a second family to me even though I lost touch with them over the yrs I will always have memories of Twin Lakes Sporting Goods and Jerry. Hugs and prayers. Teresa Wohlgemuth (Clark)

  6. This is a little late. Wanted you to know how very sorry I am of your loss of Jerry. I worked at Duckwalls for 12 years and will always remember him from Twin Lakes Sporting Goods. He was such a good-looking and super friendly guy! I know how much you will all miss him. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
