Geraldo "Jerry" Azzone

Geraldo “Jerry” D. Azzone, 85, died July 16, 2026.

Jerry was born January 26, 1941, and grew up in Highland Park, Illinois. He moved to Wichita in the 60s and worked for Cessna Aircraft as a supervisor and assembler for 39 years before retiring in 2011 to spend more time with family and new granddaughter Giavanna.

He loved old cars which he could identify on sight and collected replicas. Jerry enjoyed going out for breakfast, homemade pizza and playing cards and games with family. He played checkers and was also learning to play chess.

Jerry was very friendly and greeted everyone with a smile and wished them a “good day.”

Geraldo is preceded in death by his parents, Margaret Azzone, Giuseppe Azzone, Antonia Azzone; and brothers, Frances and Giavonni Azzone.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Azzone; son, Jason (Bethanie) Azzone; granddaughter, Giavanna; brothers, Michael (Connie) and Nicola (Holly) Azzone.

Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m., Funeral Mass at 10:30 am, Friday, July 24, 2026, at All Saints Catholic Church.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN 38105.
