After graduating from Oklahoma City University, Gloria married Philip F. Farha in 1947 and moved to Wichita. The couple had five children and made Wichita their home for the next 58 years. 1. Hello Toni and family, I was very sorry to read of your Mother’s passing. I know she was a blessing in all of your lives. I still miss seeing your Dad walking down Central. It is difficult to see our parents pass on but they leave a great legacy behind. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Barbie Rounds Parsons

  2. Dear Children of Gloria, I have little doubt but what Gloria’s dance of life was every bit and more than what her obituary reads. Not only did she beat me by seven days in her arrival on this incredible planet, her life also made it personal by giving birth to Marti, first as a favorite student of mine, and later as one who inspired my lasting interest in Middle Eastern affairs. Over the years, I have shared your mother’s wanderlust and am leaving for the Mediterranean in a few days. These reflections come to mind in reading about a life so fully lived. Be comforted in knowing that in your memory of her footsteps, Gloria rests immortal.

  3. Dear Clay and Family, It has been an honor to have been aquainted with you and yor parents over the years.Your Mother and Father both were of the highest caliber, I greatly respected and appreciated them both touching my life.My Family and I will keep you all in our prayers. God Bless you all. Howard Schultz and Family
