Herbert Randy Damman,
83, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020. Rosary, 9:45 a.m.; Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m., both Saturday, January 2, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Herbert retired from the United States Air Force with 21 years of service, and 20 years as a letter carrier with the United States Post Office. He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Maunda Damman, and sister, Glenna Daniels. Survivors, wife, Betty; daughter, Tammie (Don) McKim; sons, Douglas L. (Stephanie ) Damman, Brian A. Damman; grandchildren, Lauren Damman, Taylor (Jayce) Bell, Henry Damman; 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial has been established with Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, KS 67202. Downing & Lahey Mortuary West Chapel.

Such wonderful memories I have of phone conversations with Randy when his son, Doug, was stationed at the Coast Guard Base in LaMoure, North Dakota. He was quite the concerned Father. His earthly journey is finished, may he rest in eternal peace. CWO4 (retired) John M. Patrick USCG
