Jerome David Marcus, 79, of Englewood, CO, President Emeritus of Marcus Food Company, died Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am, Friday, August 20, 2021, at Joan S. Beren Wichita Jewish Community Center. Preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Mildred Marcus; brother, Howard Nathan Marcus and daughter, Carrie Anne Marcus. Survived by his wife, Dale Rose Marcus of Englewood, CO; children, Heidi (Samuel) Golding of Ft. Collins, CO, Jeff (Jill) Marcus of North Caldwell, NJ, Wendy (Layne) Moskowitz of Maplewood, NJ, Blaire (Rob Bastress) Malkin of Charleston, WV, Lexi (Mark Newberg) Malkin of Somerville, MA; grandchildren, Cassidy, Madison, and Samara Moskowitz, Emily and Aaron Golding, Priya, Axl, and Declan Marcus, Arlo and Della Anne Bastress, Julian Newberg. I have known Jerry since the 8th grade at Minneha. Jerry was a sweetest man with a heart of gold. It’s so sad to see him gone. Remembering the great times planning our class regions. Jerry, you will be missed but in our thoughts forever.
