Joan Aboud, 87, Retired Owner of Aboud’s Liquor, died Friday, January 9, 2026.
Trisagion & Funeral Service will be at 10:30 am, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at St. Mary Orthodox Christian Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, James, Sr. and Rose Aboud; brothers, James Aboud, Russell Aboud.
Survived by her beloved nephew, Brad (Deborah) Aboud; nieces, Stephanie (Brent) Stuber, Jeanne (Robert) Bennett, Ashley (Joe) Aboud-Beck; and many great-nieces and great-nephews; as well as great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Joan was a true fireball who left a warm impression on everyone she met. She fancied herself a poet and was unknowingly a comedian-her words and actions brought laughter to all, and she especially loved laughing at herself! Joan loved her dog, Pepsi, probably more than any human!! We are thankful that Pepsi’s remains will be laid to rest with Joan, something we truly believe would have meant the world to her!
