I knew John in 1985-86. We lost touch years ago. I am shocked to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to his loved ones. He touched my heart deeply, and I never forgot or will forget him. He was the ‘one who got away’. I adored him so. I never stopped loving him. I am happy to know he went on to marry and have a son and grandchildren & walked his daughters down the aisle. Blessings to all.
Linda and family, I was very saddened to hear about John. As his next-door neighbor on Bramblewood for many years, I always admired his love for life and the outdoors. He taught me a lot about home ownership, and I’ll never forget the things he did for me, the help around the house, the yard work, etc. I know he will be greatly missed. May his memory be eternal!

I regret not being able to attend the memorial service today, but want to assure you that my thoughts are with you. Sincerely, Byron E. Hummon Jr.
Linda: I was surprised when I saw this in the paper. John was a good man and a great neighbor. I miss seeing you and JJ. I will keep both of you in my prayers. With my deepest sympathy. Julie Ecker (formerly Wiggans)
