  3. I am beyond shock and sadness at the loss of this man and now his wonderful wife, Jean. The world is a better place because they were in it and gave so much love to so many people. God Bless their family and friends

  4. Our deepest sorrow on the loss of a very good and respected man that we were very proud to call friend. We will miss him very much. We met Joe and Jean several years ago at the Shocker basketball games and enjoyed their friendship so much.

  5. Eleanor, Please accept our most sincere condolence on the recent passing our your husband Joe. Our relationship began with Joe last year as he became involved in our capital campaign, ultimately serving as one of our steering committee members. His dedication to helping others, especially those in need, was obvious in his words and actions. We will miss him, and our prayers are with you. Blessings, The staff of United Methodist Open Door.

  6. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Jean and family. We were lucky enough to sit behind Joe and Jean at WSU basketball games. They both took the new kids in as friends and we were so blessed to get to know them over the last few years. We will miss Joe so much, what a kind and sweet man. Our Shocker season will be so much sadder without Joe. The Shockers and Jayhawks have lost one of their biggest fans. We were so lucky to have known Joe.
