Joseph Pinky Pinkerton

Pinkerton, Joseph “Pinky”, 85, retired Beech Aircraft engineer for 42 years, died Thursday, June 1, 2006. Service 1:30 P.M., Monday, June 5, Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Pinkerton. Survivors: daughters, Shirley Hughes (Ken) of Burlington, KS and Sheryl Glasgow (Ron) of Sachse, TX; granddaughter, Kristi Simon (Eric) of Sachse, TX; grandson, John Hathaway (Catherine) of Huntley, IL; great-grandchildren, Jacob Simon of Sachse, TX, William Hathaway and Katelyn Hathaway, both of Huntley, IL; brother, Jerry Pinkerton of Walters, OK; two nieces and two nephews. A memorial has been established with Coffey County Hospital, 801 N. 4th St., Burlington, KS, 66837.
