Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Dear Ken & family, Please accept my sincere sympathy and condolences on the loss of your Dad. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Here is a poem that meant a lot to me when my Mom & Sister passed on and I hope you enjoy it too! To Those I Love And To Those Who Love me Author Unknown When I am gone, release me, let me go- I have so many things to see and do. You mustnt tie yourself to me with tears, Be Happy that we had so many wonderful years. I gave to you my love. You can only guess How much you gave to me in happiness. I thank you for the love you each have shown, But now its time I traveled on alone. So grieve for me a while if grieve you must Then let your grief be comforted by trust. Its only for a while that we must part. So bless the memories within your heart. I wont be far away, for life goes on, So if you need me, call and I will come. Though you cant see or touch me, Ill be near And if you listen with your heart, youll hear All my love around you soft and clear. And then, when you must come this way alone, Ill greet you with a smile and say, ‘Welcome Home’
As a student leader at the University of Wichita Karl Friedel was one of a few students who helped reorganize the oldest social fraternity on the campus. In 1957 Pi Alpha Pi Fraternity was failing its responsibility as a developer of student male leaders. Karl along with a small number of other dedicated independent male students were ask by the dean of men to reorganize the fraternity. They easily met the responsibility and developed the foundation for the local group that has grown to be one of the leading ‘balanced man’ national fraternities on the WSU campus. The alumni and undergraduates members of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity express our gratitude for the strong organizational and leadership skills which Judge Friedel used throughout his life to benefit many worthwhile organizations. Leadership was one of Karl’s natural gifts which he generously used to benefit the people of our community. He was well loved and will be missed. Smiles for the Journey.
I am sincerely sorry to lose this special friend who was a truly good man. God Bless his soul.
