Levi Ashton Ward, 20, passed away Saturday, April 16, 2022. Rosary and Funeral Mass at 1:00 pm, on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Reception following at Rolling Hills Country Club. Graveside service, 10:00 am, Friday, April 22, 2022, Resurrection Cemetery, Wichita, KS. Levi was a graduate of Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and on the 2017 State Championship football team. He attended the University of Kansas, belonged to the Kansas Alpha Chapter of Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, and was the captain of the Men’s KU Water Ski Team. Levi also worked for KAKE news as a First Alert Storm Tracker and Storm Chaser. He had an unmatched energy level, described by his friends as "electric". Levi lived large. He lived the best times of his life in the weeks prior to his passing, witnessing a KU Men’s Basketball National Championship and successfully chasing an EF2 tornado. Preceded in death by his grandfathers, Dick Ward and Gordon Reichenberger. Survived by his father, Shawn (Lana) Ward; mother, Jill (Todd Wolters) Ward; grandmothers, Leslie Ward and Elaine Reichenberger; aunts, Kim (Kenny Pangburn) Ward, Pam (Sean) Richardson, Tina (Doug) May, Lisa (Brent) Holman, Tara Reichenberger, Abby (Adam) Burrus; uncle, Ross (Jessica) Reichenberger; step-siblings, Chelsey (Deven Ramsey) Miranda, Justin (Linde) Hanzlick, Courtney (Jacob) Skiles; cousins, Kristen, Kally, Connor, Reece, Seth, Samantha, Seger, Shane, Harper and Sloane.   1. Jill…… This just doesn’t seem real. Levi was such a great kid. I’ll never forget his love of the trains when you would bring him to the office! Praying God’s peace for your heart to heal.
