Lonnie Myers, 75, retired Head of Acquisition for the Wichita Public Library, died Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Monday, January 19, 2026, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside Service will be at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at Kechi Township Cemetery.

Preceded in death by his parents, Millard and Marijane Myers; brother, Millard Myers, Jr; ex-wife, Nancy J. Myers.

Survived by his daughter, Wynter Myers of Bel Aire, KS; son, Gerid (Amy) Myers of Wichita, KS.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Friends of the Wichita Public Library, 711 W. 2^nd St. N., Wichita, KS 67203.
