Mai "Judy" Meek

Mai “Judy” Meek, 85, Homemaker, died Sunday, November 2, 2025.

Celebration of Life will be 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, Friday, November 21, 2025, at Botanica, The Wichita Gardens, in the Lotus Room, 701 North Amidon Street, Wichita, Kansas 67203.

Judy met the love of her life, Michael, in Taiwan while he was serving in the Army. She later immigrated to the U.S. to be with him. They were married on May 21, 1974.

Judy dedicated her life to her family and community. She could regularly be seen volunteering and helping around the local elementary school. She lived a life defined by kindness and generosity. Judy dedicated herself wholeheartedly to her family, building a home filled with love, warmth, and unwavering support.

Everyone who met Judy would tell you she was the kindest, most giving person you could ever meet. She was always cooking for people, or stopping by to check on them, or giving them unexpected gifts.

Judy loved and adored her grandchildren, Isaac and Gage; they were the center of her world.

Her love will live on in every heart she touched. Though she has left our sight, her light will forever guide us.

Judy is preceded in death by her parents, Shutong and Xiaowei Huang. She is survived by her husband, Michael Dean Meek; son, Christopher Allen Meek and wife, Sarah of Derby, Kansas; grandchildren, Isaac Meek and Gage Meek also of Derby, Kansas.
