Jabara, Marjorie M., passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She was born on November 24, 1930 to Adeeb and Haseba Andeel in Okemah, Oklahoma. She was married to Eddie Jabara in Wichita, Kansas in August 1954. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie; her brother, Ron; and her sister, Leenda. Margie spent countless hours cooking her many specialties and was most happy when her children and grandchildren were with her to enjoy them. She was a confidant to many and always had a good story to tell. She was often heard telling her family, “Stand up for what you believe in, even if you stand alone.” Margie is survived by her children, Mark (Gail) Jabara of Wichita, Tracy (Dan) Stammen of Plano, TX, and Kelli (Mark) Williams of Leawood, KS. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Amy (Justin) Fernandez, Taylor and Jake Stammen, Danielle and Dylan Williams; great-grandchild, Hugo Fernandez; siblings, Lindy (Linnie) Andeel, Beverly Farha, Deanna (Lewis) Elias, Stanley (Gretchen) Andeel; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation from 12:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 10, family present from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M., at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary. Trisagion and Funeral Service at 7 P.M., Thursday, April 10, 2014, at St. George Orthodox Christian Cathedral. Burial at 11:00 A.M., Friday, April 11, 2014, at Old Mission Cemetery.
