  1. I met Mark at Old Chicago west, we were having a cold beer and getting to know each other, especially his love for Nebraska football. About one week later I went in and said “Hi Mark” then he said, “Hi Tom”. The only problem was my name is Jim. So after a couple of jokes about getting old and forgetting things, we would always greet each other with the wrong name. I’m not sure how many years this went on, but I treasured every moment of the time we spent talking about football. Till we meet again at the old saloon in heaven!

  2. Mark was a good man. I remember going to the Halloween parties he threw and created a maze where he would give us a hayride and have people jump out and scare us. It was so fun. He was so kind to me. I’ll always remember you Mark! 🤍
