Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Phil and Family: I will remember with great fondness the many hours that Jo spent with many of the behind-the-scenes events and Guild activities at Music Theatre of Wichita. What a great volunteer she was. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

  2. Jo was the essence of class, friendliness & dignity as I knew her in United Methodist Women. She had a graciousness that exceeded her physical beauty. I will miss her spirit and leadership.

  3. Although I’ve only met Mary Jo a few times, it was very evident from those visits what a caring, vibrant person she was during her lifetime. She was always very interesting to talk to and I enjoyed the short time we spent together at my brother and sister-in-law’s house (Keith & Judy Johnson). My sympathy goes to all of her family. May you find a great deal of peace in the memories of such a wonderful woman, wife and mother.

  4. Dear Phil and all Jo’s family, Please know that I have missed Jo all year and especially during this special season. Phil it is so good to see you at Sunday School and choir when you are in town. You are missed when you are not here. I pray that you feel the loving arms of God around you and are finding peace. God bless you all.

  5. May you feel God’s peace as this next phase of the journey is upon you. May you remember God’s steady love as you embrace this mystery of life. We are all thinking of you. Sorry we couldn’t all be with you.

  6. Dear Kara, Mark and Family, We are so sorry to learn of your Mother’s passing. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you.

  7. Phil and Family, Our sympathies to you all in the loss of Jo. We gained a great respect for her through Dick’s association with you both in our VIM work, especially the mission trip to Russia. She was a great person and an inspiration to us. I know she will be a great loss to the church. Our hearts are with you, but we know she is in a better place and will meet her there one day.

  8. Jo was my friend, my very special friend. She made everyone she knew feel as if they were the most special person to her. She had a God-given talent for making each person feel special. I loved her and will surely miss her. My love and sympathy goes out to all her family and friends.

  9. Dear Phil and family, I am an old friend from Sanborn Methodist Chruch. I remember Mary Jo when she was a child and growing up. Even though I was older she always made a point of visiting when me in church when she was back in Sanborn. I did not know of her illness so it was a shock when I heard about it. You and your children and siblilngs are in our prayers. Bonnie (Chrisman) Vollink, Archer, Iowa

  10. Mary Jo, we never met but we are related. ‘Schroder-Bremmer’s). May you rest in peace, your life history will live on, in our family tree.
