Maxine Whiteley (Gay) Tripp

Tripp, Maxine (Gay) Whiteley, 96, medical secretary, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Visitation with family is 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm Friday at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary. Graveside service is 1:00 pm Saturday at the Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington, KS. Preceded in death by her first husband Dr. Philip W. Whiteley, second husband David H. Tripp and a step grandson Doug Fleming. Survivors include a son; Philip Hall Whiteley of Wichita: step grandchildren; Lynn Murabito of Wichita, Susan Tate of Lawrence, Mark Leslie of Wichita; niece Carolyn Cooper of Urbana, IL: nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Memorials have been established with Eastminster Presbyterian Church, 1958 N. Webb Rd., Wichita, Kansas 67206 and Wichita Childrens Home, 810 N. Holyoke St., Wichita, KS 67208.
