Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
Jean and family…my prayers are with you and continue to be that God will give you the strength that you need…Please know that you are loved and more so with Mike where he is at.
Mike was a truly holy man, a family man, a Christian man, a devoted husband, wonderful grandfather man. A man whose career as a State Legislator, a lobbyist for the Kansas Diocese enlighten the people he served. There are few men that measure up to his work and moral ethic He has the most devoted, caring wife a man could have. He has the most dedicated and loving mother. Mike was a modest man, no airs, honest andfought for couragous causes at the local and state levels A man who died like he lived. It reminds us of ‘the sage who wears ragged clothing while holding the jewel in his heart.’ Goodbye nephew, Mike, a truly GOOD man. Love, peace and prayers to all the Farmers Phyllis and Bob
Our deepest sympathy to Jean, the kids, and all the Farmer family. Michael was a gentle giant and we feel blessed and richer having known him. His work on behalf of the unborn was a legacy that continues in his earthly absence. We will long remember his fabulous smile and all his amazing qualities made choosing the name Michael an obvious choice for our son’s name in 1994. May all of you be comforted in the knowledge that God will welcome Mike as a good and faithful servant. Sad only for our loss for Mike has earned his eternal reward. He was truly a wonderful man and those of us lucky enough to have crossed his path are forever touched and changed. Thanks for sharing your husband, dad, son, and brother with all of us. He was truly a gentleman and a statesman. May God comfort you in your loss. Chris and Mary Kay Rott and family
Please accept my condolences. Mr. Farmer was an honorable and moral person with high ideals and impeccable character. My father (Garry Boston of Newton) was fortunate to get to know him while they served together in the Kansas Legislature. I believe I even met Mike and his parents years earlier at Kansas Newman College when they would attend mass at St. John’s Chapel. I have never heard anything but wonderful comments about him and his example of living as a true Christian witness is an inspiration for us all. May our blessed Lord provide your family with the grace and support necessary to sustain and comfort you at this time.
