  3. Owen and Jeanette were neighbors of ours when we all lived on Hathway Circle years ago. We were about five years into our marriage. At the time we had a little boy under the age of two. Owen loved to tease our son. We would visit with Owen about many of life’s happenings but especially raising kids. We greatly admired his wonderful marriage. Many years have passed but we still have very fond memories of that cul-de-sac and our wonderful fun conversations. Please accept our sympathies on the loss of Owen. You were very blessed to have him as a dad and grandpa. We were very blessed to have had him as a neighbor! Greg and Karen Perkins

  4. My name is Roger Wiggett and I became good friends with Owen though work at NCR and the NCR, LSI and Net App golf league. Please accept my deepest sympathies and i do apologize that I was not able to attend any services because of covid concerns. Owen was such as nice man and I always enjoyed playing golf with him; he was so consistant in his golf game and a very good short game player. When visiting with him over the last few years at the Catholic care center I could only dream that we would again play golf together some day. I very much enjoyed visiting with him talking about golf and the civil war; one of his favorite topics. I believe he wrote a book which I would like to read someday and I know he published a poem as well. I wish I could have heard him entertain other patients with he guitar and singing skills. I will sure miss visiting with Owen; he will be forever remembered as a good friend an a fun guy. My deepest sympathies to his family and friends.
