Patricia Malone, 88, Homemaker, died Sunday, January 26, 2025. Patricia (Pat) was a devoted mother and grandmother. She took pride in having a clean, comfortable and welcoming home for her family and friends. She and her husband, Art, loved attending Notre Dame and Kansas City Chiefs football games and hosted many watch parties for both. She enjoyed attending her children and grandchildren’s sporting events, from grade school through college. She was always true to her Catholic faith. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, George and Christine Biggs and husband, Arthur Edward Malone. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Malone of Olathe, KS, Patrick (Dana) Malone of Wichita, KS; daughter, Stacy (Chris) Howell of Wichita, KS; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from Noon to 8pm Thursday and Friday at Downing & Lahey Mortuary West, located at 10515 W. Maple, Wichita, KSRosary will be at 9:30am, Funeral Mass will be at 10:00am, both on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, located at 861 N Socora, Wichita, KS. A memorial has been established with: FIAT Ministries, 14114 West Westport Street, Wichita, Kansas 67235, and Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice, 313 South Market, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
