Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Dear Joan, Gina, Joe, Mary, Cathy, and Dennis: My sister Theresa just called to tell me about your mom’s passing and I must say a thousand memories came flooding me of your parents and your family. It was impossible to know only one Hill family member for if you knew one you had to know the entire family. Your parents made everyone feel welcome and I am so thankful for the warm feelings of acceptance they gave me. God only knows I tested them a few times with some of the pranks Mary and I pulled. Your mom had such great love for each and everyone of you. It was an honor to witness. I have known that you have all shared the bad and good times as a strong family unit and I am sure you will continue to do so. My heart and prayers go out to each of you in your time of need. If there is anything I can do Please call me. Sincerely, Rose Beyer (815) 220-1944

  2. After Joan called me about your mom, a song popped into my head and it won’t go away. Figured I was meant to pass it along to you. Let’s just call it a love song for Gene and Pat. I feel honored to have witnessed their very remarkable partnership. Love……………..carol Wanting you the way I do I only want to be with you And I would go to the ends of the earth Cause darling to me that’s what you’re worth Where you lead, I will follow Anywhere that you tell me to If you need, you need me to be with you I will follow where you lead If you’re out on the road Feeling lonely, and so cold All you have to do is call my name And I’ll be there on the next train Where you lead, I will follow Anywhere that you tell me to If you need, you need me to be with you I will follow where you lead Where You Lead Carole King (Tapestry)
