Paul Raymond Wetta

Paul Raymond Wetta, 64, passed away April 6, 2014. He was born February 12, 1950 in Wichita to George and Delphine Wetta and grew up in Andale on his familys egg farm along with his 9 brothers and sisters. After high school, Paul joined the Marines and served for 2 years during the Vietnam War. After serving his country, he returned to Kansas to start a construction company, Precision Foundations. He owned and operated the Wichita based company for more than 40 years. Paul spent countless hours at Christ the King, volunteering for the Lords Diner, playing cards with family and friends and enjoying his favorite donut shop. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his stepdaughter, Andrea. Survivors: wife, Susan; siblings, Sr. Therese ASC, Norbert (Jan), Louis (Ruth), Alice, Marlene (Wayne), Joanne (Mark), Earl (Janice), Eileen (Arlan) and Janet; daughter, Tracy (Eric); stepdaughters, Elizabeth (Wes), Erin (Jim); grandchildren, Abby, Ian, Drew, Ava, Reese, Evan, Will and Mya. Rosary, 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 9; Funeral Mass, 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 10, both at Christ the King Catholic Church. He was the greatest grandpa I could have ever wished for, he taught me to fish, and how to serve and not want anything in return, his love shines beyond his life he lived, and will be carried on to everyone I love.
