Philip J. Pulliam

Philip J. Pulliam, passed away March 23 in McAllen, Texas. Born in Osage, OK on September 27, 1934. Phil was a graduate of McPherson College and worked at Boeing for 36 years in Industrial Engineering. He and his wife Adele, married for 61 years, enjoyed traveling with the Kansas chapter of the Holiday Ramblers for many years and wintering in Alamo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Karen (Tom) Puetz of Benton. Survived by his wife, Adele; his daughter, Cheryl (Chris) McGinnis of New York City; and son, Mark (Nicole) of Wichita; and his sister, Sharon (Dean) Yoder. He has 6 grandsons and 5 granddaughters and 6 great-grandchildren. Phil could build and fix anything and was interested in a great many hobbies including, woodworking, golf, cars, computers and photography. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests gifts be made to the American Diabetes Association (608 W. Douglas Ave. S-100, Wichita, KS 67203) or the American Heart Association (1861 N. Rock Rd. #380, Wichita, KS 67206) in Phils memory. Memorial Service will be on Saturday April 28, 2018 at 1:00 pm, at Downing & Lahey East Mortuary, 6555 E. Central.
