Thackery, Robert L., 84, retired cement contractor, passed away Friday, March 5, 2010. Rosary, 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 10; Funeral Mass, 10:00 a.m., Thursday, March 11, both at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Preceded in death by wife, Rita; infant daughter, Rosemary; parents, Ray and Bessie; sister, Kathryn Eileen Parker; brother, Alfred Thackery. Survivors: children, Ray (Jenifer), Ruth Broehl (Larry), Robert (Rita), Rhonda Sherrod (Larry), Ron (Diane), Gina Blogref, Randy (Kristie), Roy (Becky); 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren. Memorials established with Catholic Care Center, Bishop Carroll Catholic High School and Steve King Foundation. Downing Lahey Mortuary West.
