Roger Alan Robben, 46, passed away at his home, of natural causes, in west Wichita, Monday, November 30, 2015. Vigil/Rosary Service, 7 p.m., Thursday, December 3; Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Friday, December 4, both at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church. Survivors: his children, Olivia 17, Riggs 16 and Sylvia 13; his parents, Bob and Sherry Robben; his fianc, Debra Farris and her children, Josie 13 and Jake 11; siblings, Robbie (wife, Linette), Rhonda (husband, Rick), Rene (husband, Darren), Randy (wife, Nicole), Raelynn (husband, Kevin) and many nieces and nephews. Roger was a beloved football coach and teacher. He served as a freshman football coach at Bishop Carroll Catholic High School. He coached for 23 years, previously serving as head coach at Remington, Buhler, Goddard and Augusta. Roger was an amazing and loving father and a devoted Catholic Christian. He graduated from Bishop Carroll in 1987 and from the University of Kansas in 1992 where he served as Captain of the football team for the Jayhawks.
