Duncan, Roger D., 58, served the aircraft industry as a tool dye maker for 37 years, died Sunday, January 6, 2013. Service will be January 10, 2013 at 2:00 P.M., Downing Lahey East. Roger was born July 28, 1954 in Columbus, KS. Roger married the love of his life, Glenda J. (Marbel) Duncan in 1975. Roger owned and operated American Tool Dye in Benton, KS for 19 years. Roger was an avid member of the Kansas Field Trials Clubs Association and was instrumental in bringing the National Vizsla Association to Kansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert D. Duncan and his father-in-law, Dale E. Marbel. Roger is survived by his wife, Glenda; mother, Lois R. Duncan; mother-in-law Madeline Granberry; five sisters, Connie S. Baumgardner; Linda D. Shields; Gail A. Kiser; Debbie J. Brown; Kelli D. Mathis, two brothers Jeff C. Duncan and Doug W. Duncan; 15 nieces and nephews and one special nephew; Travis S. Baumgardner and his wife, Erika and their two children, Trevor and Stella, 26 great nieces and nephews, two horses, Tuff and Easy; six dogs, Gus; Buzz; Ike; Two; Babe; Tanner. A memorial has been established with the Kansas Field Trial Clubs Association.
