Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
I have know Roger for many years. I think we first met while working on the Citation VII project in the late 80’s. I’ve always appreciated Roger’s friendly and open personality, always ready to help. I don’t think I ever saw him cross. He was a joy to work with. I will miss him. My prayers go out to Cindy and the family.
Cindy: My sympathy to you and yours on the death of Roger. I remember the day when my Pat and I attended your wedding. Cindy Hay was now Cindy Barnes. My Pat has now been gone for ten years. May the Good Lord strengthen you in the grieving process.
I met many people in my 34 years at Cessna. Roger was one of the ‘best’. Never a negative word, always a smile. He was always willing to assist me with problems I brought to him. Never ever was he too busy or too important a person to not speak to me (or others) when passing in the aisles of the plant(s). Cessna has lost on of the special ones, God has him now!
Roger was professional at all times and obviously held in high esteem by all that worked with him, but it will be his sense of humour and wry smile when things got tough that stay with me as a lasting memory of my time at Cessna. A truely nice guy, my prayers go out to his family, friends and co-workers.
My sincere sympathies to the family of Roger. I have had the pleasure and honor to work with Roger for several years on many different progams that Pratt & Whitney Canada and Cessna have jointy embarked upon. Roger has always been highly respected for his knowledge, experience and dedicated contribution. Roger wll be greatly missed.
My thoughts and prayers go out to Cindy and the family. I could not have asked for a better boss to have worked for. I really appreciate Roger, and his genuine nature, and I am forever grateful for him, giving me my start in my career. I am very thankful to have worked for him, and to know him as a friend. I am very thankful for all he taught me, and will always remember his patients and kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with the family and the entire team at Cessna. Roger will be greatly missed. I am a better person to have known and worked for Roger. With deepest sympathy and warmest regards, Todd Owens
