I met Tom And Susan the summer of 1965 when Tom and I played on a slo-pitch softball team. They were both very nice people, a joy to be around with wonderful senses of humor. Tom and I played through the summer of 1967. He was a pitcher and a very capable and smart player. I started playing fast-pitch softball in 1968 and only saw Tom two times after that. Once at a Qwik Trip circa 1980 where we chatted for a while and he informed me that he and Susan had five children and proudly commented that one of his sons was playing football at Bishop Carroll HS. Our last meeting was when I was invited to a golf outing in the 1990’s and Tom was in the group. And a wonderful day of “catching up” it was. Precious memories, how they linger. Good night Tom, and thank you for sharing a part of your life with me.
I am so sorry to learn of the passing of my cousin, Tom. I don’t have any stories in particular but I always loved all our family gatherings. Tom’s mom, my Aunt Maxine, gave me some of her cocktail dresses so I could play dress up. My condolences to Tom’s family.
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family’s loss.
