Guestbook

  1. Sylvia and family: Since the time when I first transferred to Wichita in 1991I have always enjoyed the friendship we had, and of course, with my Silvia, the ease of communication that she had with both of you in Spanish was a blessing. He will me missed. I can only offer our sympathy and as fellow Catholics know that Victor has his heavenly reward and that you will again be with him. Know that we are always here for you.

  2. Juan and Family, Rocky always was polite to my family, an had a smile. Cherish the memories you have, an hold them close to your heat. You all are in my thoughts and prayers as you go thru this difficult time.

  3. Sylvia, my heart hurts for you and your family! I have many great memories that I shared with Victor. He was a great man and friend. God Bless!

  4. I met this wonderful man 24 years ago and through out that time he’s taught us what it is to be an incredible human by having set himself forth as an example for not only his family but all those whom he viewed as family as well. His sons, my best friends and his wife my second mother, I can’t describe their loss but know that we all will shine in the light that this man lit both in and for us. He was always positive, supportive, and calm.

Again, a great example of how to live life and treat others. Such an exemplary person.

  5. An enormous loss to a fabulous family. My heart breaks for each one of you. I will be praying for strength and understanding that only God can provide. Rocky was a wonderful man and has certainly made this world a better place. My sincere condolences.

  6. Rocky and I worked together in Yuma in the Patrol. He was one of my favorites because he rarely complained and was always good for a laugh. Working with Rocky always made the shift go by fast, especially at the traffic checkpoints on a midnight shift! I will miss him. Until Valhalla, mi hermano.

  7. I can’t express how sorry I am for the family of Victor Montemayor. I knew him as Vic, he was like a big brother. When we went to qualify he was always in a lane near me. His presence seemed to tether me and allowed me to focus at the task at hand. After he always said with his grin, “Good shooting“. Vic was my go to guy; much like Pat Garcia, for spanish phrases and commands. One day I went to Vic’s cubicle all proud of myself, “Hey Vic, mayor in spanish is elderly !” He swatted me on th shoulder and grinned “damn Jane!” That’s when I knew I was his bratty little sister that LynnPhettyplace brought into the fold. I miss you Victor! You were a good friend, I’m honored to have known you.

  8. Dear Silvia and family,
I was so sad to learn of Rocky’s passing. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers

  9. Rock was simply the best friend I ever had. He was a man of compassion, humor and integrity. Although work separated us geographically, his name was spoken often as we remembered his wit, caring and friendship often. Rock will certainly continue to live on in my thoughts and his name will be spoken forever in my house.

Even more, he was my partner, and the world is a lesser place without him.

May God bless his family and friends as they celebrate his life and endure his absence. He has gone on ahead and is awaiting us for a joyful reunion.
