Vivian Alice (Parsons) Spaunhorst

Spaunhorst, Vivian Alice (Parsons), 90, joined her Lord and Savior on December 30, 2008. As the founder of Faith of Our Fathers, Inc., she and her long time associate, Trista L. Brown, were a positive Christian influence for 41 years. Visitation with the family will be 4:00 ~ 6:00 P.M., Friday, January 2 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East, 6555 E. Central, Wichita. Memorial service 10:30 A.M., Saturday, January 3, at Faith Chapel Church, 6808 E. Harry, Wichita. Vivian was born December 21, 1918 in Winfield, KS, daughter of Alva and Alice Parsons. Preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, son Gearry Maness, brothers Garold and Bernard Parsons, sister Phyllis Binford, great-grandchildren Erica Dawn and Shelby Rose Wilkinson and nephews Phillip, Greg and Roger Binford. Survived by daughters, Lynda (Larry) Roberts of Wichita and Roberta (Paul) Wilkinson of Mulvane, grandchildren Teri (Roberts) Blasi, Lori (Roberts) Hanes, Aaron Maness, Kendra Maness, Eric Wilkinson and Kelli Wilkinson, great-grandchildren Alexandra Blasi, Jordan Hanes, Joshua Hanes, Brooke Wilkinson and Sheldon Wilkinson. Visitation with the family will be 4:00 ~ 6:00 P.M., Friday, January 2 at Downing Lahey Mortuary East
