Rowden, Vivian “Madge”, 92, went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, August 17, 2011. Visitation with the family will be 6 ~ 8 p.m., Friday, August 19 with service 1:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, both at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Interment at Walnut Valley Memorial Park, El Dorado, KS. She will join loved ones preceding her including husband, Raymond Rowden and daughter, Linda Miller. She is leaving behind her sons, Ronald Rowden (Linda), Cocoa Beach, FL and Doug Rowden (Chyrel), Wichita; daughter, Janice McAdam (Mike), Wichita; grandchildren, Mike Miller (Jodi), San Antonio, TX, Wendy Womack (Dale), Wichita, Debbie Shaprut (Avi), San Diego, CA, Kyle Rowden (Alexis), Clearwater, FL, Kara Rowden, Boynton Beach, FL, Ben McAdam and Erin McAdam, Wichita; great-grandchildren, Dominick Hoagland, Katie Hoagland, Alex Miller, Devin Miller, Rachel Miller and Kai Shaprut. Memorials have been established with Countryside Christian Church,

We are so sorry about you losing your Mom. Your whole family were great friends while our family was also growing up at Woodlawn. I know you’ll miss her, but she is with Ray and Linda now and she isn’t in pain or sick anymore. Our prayers are with you all.
