Mary Katherine Katie Bell

Bell, Mary Kathleen “Katie” (Sage), 93, passed away Monday, December 22, 2014. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, January 3, 2015, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Preceded in death by her husband, George L. Bell; mother, Winifred Harris; sister, W. Maxine Kealiher. Katie is survived by her daughters, Sandra Grenon of San Tan Valley, AZ, Diana (Dave) Dobbins of Wichita; Barbara Moio of Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren, Robert (Julie Kuschke) Grenon of San Francisco, CA, Alicia (Steve) Lapham of Trumbull, CT, Laura (Donnie) Robinson of Wichita, Michael (Terri) Dobbins of San Tan Valley, AZ, Angelena Moio of Los Angeles, CA; great-grandchildren, Rebecca, Brian, Zachary and Jessica Robinson of Wichita, Isabella and Lily Dobbins of San Tan Valley, AZ, and Garrett, Jackson and Samuel Lapham of Trumbull, CT; niece, Karen Campbell of Oceanside, CA. Katie served active duty in the Womens Army Corp (WACs) during WWII. She and George were devoted volunteers for many organizations in Wichita including Botanica (charter members), Old Cowtown (Trustees), Old Cowtown Social Club, and Project Beauty. A memorial has been established with the Wichita Childrens Home, 810 N. Holyoke St., Wichita, KS 67208.
