Robert E. Ballard

Ballard, Robert E., 74, went to be with his Lord and Savior after a 25 year battle with Parkinsons Disease, Saturday, September 26, 2009. Visitation with the family will be 6:00 ~ 8:00 p.m., Monday, September 28, at Downing Lahey Mortuary East. Service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 29, at Central Christian Church. Robert was an avid fisherman, hunter, golfer and trap shooter. He was past president of the Kansas Trapshooting Association. Survivors: wife, Joyce (Sturhann) Ballard; children, Monte Scott Ballard of Wichita, Bradley Todd and Janice Ballard of Andover and Tracy Lynn Ballard of Wichita; brother, Donald Ballard of Wichita; 4 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
