Marie Theresa Cappa, 69, United States Postal Worker, died Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Visitation will be at 12:00pm; Funeral Service will be at 1:00pm, Friday, May 1, 2026, located at Downing and Lahey East Mortuary.

Marie was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 22, 1956, to James Anderson and Elaine Shine. Marie graduated from Dorchester High and later went on to work for the United States Postal Service for 28 years before retiring. Marie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved to brag about and would often visit Brockton, MA and Fort Wayne, IN to be with them.

Preceded in death by her husband, Howard Everett Jennison; father, James Anderson, Sr; mother, Elaine Shine; and brother, Joe Anderson.

Survived by her sons, Shaun (Adrienne Adams) Cappa and Stephen Jennison; daughter, Caitlyn Jennison; brothers, James Anderson and Thomas Anderson; sisters, Carol (Buddy) Dobbs and Lynn (Eric) Pepples.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society, 236 S. Topeka St, Wichita, KS 67202.

  3. I am saddened by the loss of our precious friend but glad she is safe in the arms of Jesus and at peace. Extra love and prayers for her beautiful family and many friends. She was such a fun spirit and we will miss her at our luncheons.

    I just wist we got to know each other a.little better. But as time went on we would talk M on the phone and i wod feel so much better. I will miss out talks. Msy you rest easy and live with no more pain.. you and chuckie are together for eternity. The strongest bond forever
