Guestbook

  1. Mr. & Mrs. Oxley, I saw your son’s obituary in the Lincoln Journal Star. I also lost my son, Jordan, 13, to a brain tumor. Always know, your son is closer to you than ever. I’d like to be an Angel Parent Partner for you. My email and number will be included if you ever need anything. jhall144@hotmail.com (402)-724-2306 ‘When an Angel misses you, they toss a penny down, sometimes just to cheer you up, to make a smile out of your frown, So don’t pass by that penny, when you’re feeling blue, it may be a penny from Heaven, that and Angel’s tossed to you.’ My family sends their deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers for your family. Wanda Hall

  2. WE SHARE YOUR SADNESS IN ALEX’S PASSING. ALTHOUGH WE KNEW HE & YOUR FAMILY BRIEFLY–HIS COURAGE & SWEET SPIRIT TOUCHED EACH OF US DEEPLY. OUR THOUGHTS & PRAYERS ARE WITH YOUR FAMILY.

  3. Oxley family, Our heart and prayers go out to you and your families. Chad met Alex a few months ago at the Vet. auction and told me how sweet Alex was. We will be praying that you can find peace and comfort that Alex is home with his heavenly Father. Chad and Deb Skaggs

  4. Alex was blessed to have you both as parents. Your only concern was always your son. I pray you will find peace in knowing he suffers no more. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers and Alex in my heart.

  5. As the years have gone by, your entire family has remained in my thoughts and prayers. There was a time when I felt a part of your wonderful family at the home near Cortland. Those memories, just as memories of Alex will last a lifetime. Never doubt for a moment that my heart and prayers were with you all since I heard of little Alex and his trials here on earth. I know there are no mere words that can bring you comfort at this time, but because of the faith you shared with little Alex, we know he is now happy & at peace, looking forward to a blessed reunion with you all in heaven when you will see him at his brightest and best! Our hearts and prayers are with you! Wendy, Keith, Andrew & Noah Waege

  6. None of us can imagine your pain unless we have experienced the loss of a child. It is unfortunate for any parent to outlive their children. This prayer is for you. ‘Most Gracious Lord, I give you thanks for the gift that was given to me through the love of this child. Grant me now, the gift of peace as I lay my child in your loving arms. May I in time come to hold true in my heart the knowledge of union again with my beloved one. In the name of our most precious Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.’

  7. Doug, Laurie and Family, We were so very sorry to hear the news about Alex. This young man touched the lives of many people. We grieve along with you. May your strong faith, loving family and endless friendship bonds help to give you peace. Jim & Connie

  21. What a special little boy Alex was. I felt privileged to be able to take care of him on his last day here on Earth. Laurie and Doug, you are such an amazing family. God could not have intrusted a better family for Alex to be with during his short time here. I do believe this life is not the end, that God has a plan for us all, even though we wonder why He allows things to happen that hurt. I also believe Alex just got there ahead of some of us. He will be reunited with you in God’s time. I am praying that you find comfort in God’s promise to us. He will never leave. Your family touched my heart like no other family ever has.

  22. We would like to express to you our deepest sympathy on your loss. We are members at Ascension and my husband and I remember you both at the Catechism class many years ago. My son Austin was a classmate of Alex’s at New Song Academy and was quite fond of Alex. He has been missed there. You have been in our prayers throughout the years.
