Allen Clark, 69, went to heaven unexpectedly Tuesday, May 5, 2026, with a caregiver at his side.

Allen’s passion in life was music, from early piano lessons to being a keyboardist in a rock band in the 1970’s that traveled throughout Kansas.  Playing acoustical guitar was also a skill he developed as a young man.  He managed an award-winning Musicland store in his early career, then held various other management positions over the years and ended his working days as a Communication Technician at Comcast in Denver, CO.  Family and close friends were vitally important to Allen, traveling home to Wichita at every opportunity during the 30 years he lived in Colorado.  He loved road trips and had a sincere compassion for animals.  An avid reader, his extensive library was concentrated in the subjects of American History, Presidential Biographies and Christian Theology.

Preceded in death by his father, Dale Clark, mother Clara Clark and his brother-in-law Lynn Drake.

Survived by his sister Alisa Drake; nephew Chris (Bec) Drake and niece Anna (Travis) Hall; great nephews Jayden Hall and Logan Drake, great nieces Natalie Hall and Whitney Hall.
