Andrew "Andy" Orville Lindseth

Andy was a lifelong friend. We first met in middle school and became instant friends. As a young man in middle/high school, I lacked self-confidence. Andy on the other hand was very confident. He was also very intelligent and could navigate through noise like no one I’ve ever met. I learned so many things from him over the years. His quick wit and no-nonsense approach to life was inspiring. He taught me to stay informed and make decisions for myself and to follow it up with a resolve on sticking to the truth with confidence. We would spend hours discussing current events and life in general. He was so approachable when times were tough and always had great advice. He pushed me, which I often needed. I was with him when I met my wife and we all remained close as my wife and I started our family. We would have dinner nights. We would cook for him one month and he would cook for us the next month. He had a meekness that was unmatched by anyone. Kids and animals alike were always drawn to him which in my opinion was a sign of the kindness of his soul and tenderness of his heart. They could sense it. Andy was a bright light in this world, and he will be greatly missed by all of us that had the honor of knowing him. My meandering thoughts here don’t even come close to describing his full character. There aren’t words that can adequately describe him or what his friendship meant to me. I will miss you my dear friend!

Andy was such a kind person. If you needed help you just had to ask and he would be there. He will be missed. Our trip to Iceland was such an amazing experience that I will remember forever.
