Richard adored her. He told me stories about her often. My heart hurts for the family that has had to say until we see you again. What a precious person she was. May peace, love and comfort surround her family during this time

Barbara Jean Unrein, 46, died August 12, 2026. A private family gathering will be held.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Leona; and brothers, Tom, Jim and Richard. She is survived by her brothers, Bill (Margie) of Wichita; John of Canton, KS; and Tony of Conway Springs, KS; sisters, Teresa Koster (Tim) of Conway Springs, KS; Rita Orth (Michael) of Haysville, KS; and several nieces and nephews.
She has been set free from her broken body. May she soar on angel’s wings and sing and dance with her family in heaven.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Botkin Care and Rehab for all the love and care they gave Barbara during her final years. They are proof there are angels here on earth.
