Betty L. Fischer
November 11, 1922 ~ February 1, 2006
Fischer, Betty L., was born in Greenwood County, KS to Albert and Gladys Heath, November 11, 1922. She graduated from Emporia State Teachers College with a degree in music. She married Curtis Fischer on January 22, 1944 and they moved to Newton in 1949 and became life-long residents. Betty was a full time homemaker and taught private piano lessons until 1989. She died February 1, 2006 at St. Francis Hospital, Wichita. She is survived by her three children, Dr. Larry Fischer and wife, Glenda of Topeka, Ron Fischer of Wichita, KS and Linda Loraine and husband, Del Paulson of Beulah, CO; 5 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 3, Downing Lahey West Chapel.
