Blaise Virgil Stewart was born on December 3, 2003, in Wichita, KS.  He passed away at the age of 22 on Tuesday, April 7th, 2026. Blaise was kind, respectful, faithful, as well as playful, compassionate, and adventurous.  He was a young man whose smile and hugs had a way of staying with you long after he’d left the room.

Growing up, Blaise loved sports of nearly every kind, including football, basketball, baseball, and even volleyball games with his family. Baseball held a special place in his heart during his high school years, His love for athletics extended into his commitment to fitness and taking care of himself. He had a deep appreciation for the outdoors, a passion for motorcycle riding and the freedom of the open road. What Blaise truly treasured most was the camaraderie, the laughter, the teamwork, and time spent with his friends and family.

Blaise began his education at All Saints Catholic School and then on to Kapaun Mt. Carmel Catholic High School.  After, he attended WSU Tech before becoming a valued member of the team at I Heart Cookies Co.  He began his career with them in 2022 where he eventually earned the position of Team Lead. In his travels through work, Blaise graced many people with his charismatic presence and warm character.

A devoted member of All Saints Catholic Church, Blaise’s faith was at the center of his life. He was an active member of his local Knights of Columbus Council, where he embraced the order’s values of charity, unity, fraternity, and service. Blaise’s family is greatly comforted in the discovery of a scapular, rosary, and cross that he had within his possession at the time of his passing.

  1. I am So sorry for the loss of Blaise ! There are just no words for this. I had Blaise in my classroom 4 years ago. I am praying for strength and consolation for your family, especially Alexandria who was also in my classroom. You are NOT alone.

    • What a special young man God brought into this world! Just like Blaise, I trust in the Lord to give strength during this most difficult time. I will continue to pray for the family. May Perpetual Light Shine Upon you, Blaise.

  2. Blaise,
May the angels lead you into paradise:
may the martyrs receive you as you arrive,
and bring you into the holy city of Jerusalem.
May the choir of angels receive you,
and with Lazarus, once a beggar,
    may you have eternal rest.

  3. There are no words to ease the pain of such a heartbreaking loss. But please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. May you find moments of peace and comfort from the support of friends and family.

  4. We are so stunned. Our hearts and prayers go out to Heather, Tom, and the whole Stewart and Thompson families. What a shining star who has left us for the heavens. You have so much to be proud for such a beautiful soul. All the love you poured into him bore so much fruit. Our love, empathy, and prayers are all we can give to express our grief. We pray the Lord, the Holy Spirit, and their guardian angels comfort your whole family dealing with Blaise’s sudden departure. God bless you Heather, Tom and your whole family. 5. Sending prayers and comfort to the Stewart Family. We are truly sorry for the loss of your precious son, but know we have God’s promise of a reunion that will come to all that trust in him. JOHN 11:25-26, is one I wanted to share. I feel blessed that I got to meet Blaise, a special young man. Judy and Chris.

  6. I was so very sorry to hear of your tragic loss. Even though I never met Blaise, it sounds like you were truly blessed with an angel. May the comfort of family and friends bring all of you peace during this very difficult time. You all have a wonderful angel in heaven watching over you. God bless you all and many, many prayers are being sent to all of you.

  7. Blaise was a kind and fun person to be with. He would come over on weekends and help Steve work in our yard. He built our fence in the backyard and did work in the shed for us. Steve went out of town for Spirit and I asked Blaise to come over here and stay with me. We watched movies and ordered pizza. He loved having his bedroom upstairs and played Nintendo games. He said Aunt Nano it is so peaceful out here and quiet. I was in Texas and went to see him at his job and he loved making the children happy. I love you and I know you are with Jason in heaven. Love you, Aunt Nano

  8. I am struggling to find words to convey how deeply saddened I am to hear of your loss. Blaise was an incredible young man, the world is diminished in his absence. We are praying for you. May God grant you comfort and strength to endure the painful days ahead.
