Brian Wolgamott, 42, passed away on November 28, 2024, in Klamath Falls, Oregon, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Brian Wolgamott was born on September 29, 1982, in Wichita, Kansas, to Robert L. and Deborah J. Wolgamott. Brian graduated from Maize High School in 2001. He had many adventures prior to starting his career as wildland firefighter. This included working at Moonlight Basin and Chalet Sports in Big Sky and Bozeman, Montana. He also worked as a mechanic in Murdo, South Dakota. He started his career as a Wildland Firefighter for the United States Forest Service in 2012. Brian ended his career working for The United States Fish and Wildlife Service. His career allowed him to travel, see some of the most beautiful areas of our country and make lifelong friends. His adventures eventually lead him to the Pacific Northwest. This is where he met Marie and her two boys, Bryton and Maddox. The couple were married in Leavenworth, Washington on February 17th, 2018. In 2020 they welcomed their daughter Elsie to their family. Brian was best known for his endless adventures, always helping others, his charismatic personality, love for friends, family and sharing his love for skiing and sports with his children. Brian is survived by his wife; Marie Wolgamott, children; Bryton, Maddox, and Elsie of Klamath Falls, OR. father; Robert L. Wolgamott of Wichita, KS, brother; Christopher (Trisha) Wolgamott of Wichita, KS; sister; Laura (Trevor) Smith of Bozeman, MT; many nieces and nephews; and many other family and friends, that will miss him deeply. Brian is preceded in death by his mother, Deborah J Wolgamott. A memorial service for Brian Wolgamott will be held on Saturday, December 7th, at 11:00am at The Running Y resort, Woodland Ballroom,5500 Running Y Rd, Klamath Falls, OR. An additional service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, in Wichita Kansas at West Evangelical Free Church, 1161 North Maize Rd, Wichita KS at 10:00 am. Graveside service will be Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 3:00 pm at Hardtner Cemetery, Hardtner, Kansas.
