Alexander, Dr. C. William “Bill”, 55, clinical psychologist, died Saturday, June 24, 2006. Memorial service 6:00 P.M., Thursday, June 29, Downing Lahey Mortuary West. Private committal services will be held in Zanesville, OH at a later date. Bill was born February 13, 1951, in Zanesville, OH, locating in Wichita in 1979. Dr. Alexander established an active private practice in psychology, “Alexander and Associates.” He was a member of the American Psychological Association, the American Pain Society, the American College of Forensic Examiners and a Diplomate in the American Academy of Pain Management. Additionally, he was a member of the American Kennel Club. His greatest joy in life was sharing his AKC Champion Old English Sheepdog, “Denver” with his patients and others. Bill was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Alexander. He is survived by his mother, Doris Paxson of Zanesville, OH; sisters, Rosalie Chattos and Patricia Dale, also of Zanesville and Delores Kile of Pickerington, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 4218 S.E. Blvd., Wichita, KS, 67210 and the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 1653, Topeka, KS, 66601.
